Customizing Your Shoes: MI adidas

Are you a customize freak? Do you always put your name on all your stuff to announce to the world you own it? Or do you simply want a shoe made just for you? Well adidas allows you to customize your shoes and label it though mi adidas:
mi adidas lets you put your name on your adidas shoe

mi adidas lets you put your name on your adidas shoe -- THAT'S EASY! I HAVE ONLY HAVE 4 LETTERS IN MY FIRST NAME!

…its placement varies with the shoe

…there are numerous shoe models to choose from

…there are numerous shoe models to choose from -- PINK & GREY LOOK GIRLY BUT IT'S NICE

…it doesn’t even have to be your name (as long as it fits?)

…it doesn’t even have to be your name (as long as it fits?)

…and it’s not limited to running shoes!

…and it’s not limited to running shoes!

If you look closely at the shoes above these are mostly Supernovas and adizeros but the colors are quite unique (and customizable) which would definitely make your shoe distinct from everybody else’s, and of course it’s not limited to the said models, but just to clarify not all adidas shoes can be customized—they have several customizable shoe models for a variety of sport to choose from. The best part about mi adidas is that it goes beyond just the look of the shoe: it actually is having a shoe tailor-made for your foot! Your foot is analyzed (the size of the foot, weight displacement, etc.), then you choose a pair for your sport (or any model to your liking), and finally you choose your colors. Of course it does cost extra and customizing your shoe is not instantaneous so you’ll have to wait for your customized shoe (about 21-30 days in the Philippines). For more details on mi adidas you may visit http://www.adidas.com/com/miadidas/. Unfortunately the Philippines is not included in the site so I suggest that you go to the adidas store in Trinoma (there are two adidas stores in Trinoma: adidas Originals and the other one is for sports, go to the latter one) to get a complete rundown on the product.

For an idea of the mi adidas experience here’s a blog from Kenny Sia detailing the mi adidas process, which is quite the same here in the Philippines according to those who tried it. I have to warn you though that you might want to run to Trinoma and try it out after reading Kenny Sia’s blog (I know I do).
